27.9.13

My explanation

W.A.L.T is to reflect and evaluate honestly

We did this because we were writing about how clay is made

The science of art
Clay is formsed naturally, deep underground.  Clay can exist in the three different states of matter
The three states of matter can be observed when we explore clay.  Clay is originally rock (usually granite) and as it breaks down into small pieces it mixes with water, soil and other substances in the earth to become ‘clay’.  THe more water that is present in clay, the more mouldable it becomes.  When it is like this, it is a  LIQUID.

Once clay has been dug up from the ground it goes to a place and all of the dirt and grass gets taking out and then it is clay.Clay is really easy to mold

Term 3 review
